This past week, my mom and I jetted off to the East Coast for a jam-packed week of shopping, sightseeing, family, and birthday festivities! We kicked off the week with two days in Boston then spent the remaining three in the Big Apple. Since we were in go-mode from start to finish, there was just not enough time for full on photoshoots daily. Instead, I’ve decided to share my favorite snapshots from the trip. Enjoy!!

I fell in love with all the cute, quiet streets of Boston.

I did some intense Instagram stalking prior to our trip and scouted out the most adorable bakery, Tatte Bakery. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off before I could snap many more pics 😦

I have an obsession with black and white checkered tile, weird I know! When I found this wall on the side of a grocery store in Boston’s Chinatown I knew I had to take some pictures in front of it. My earrings are from h&m’s Cochella collection (and they were on sale for $1!!!!!)

This Peaches and Cream Croissant from Tatte was to die for. Thankfully I got to finish this and get some blogging done before the previously mentioned fire alarm!!

There was an original Louis Vuitton trunk, purchased at the first Louis Vuitton store and used to travel to Boston decades ago, being used as a coffee table in our hotel lobby. A sin, I know, but so so beautiful.

Every Instagrammer’s favorite spot in Manhattan at the moment, DO certainly lived up to the hype.

I got to visit my second costume exhibit at the MET!!! This year, The MET honored Rei Kawakubo of Comme Des Garcons with an exhibit called The Art of In-between which focused on juxtaposition and “in-betweenness” in CDG collections. You know I love Couture, so being surrounded by so many sculptural works of art was an incredibly inspiring experience.

My Grandma and God Mother came in for my birthday lunch at the Bryant Park Cafe! It was so great to celebrate with family in the city!! (also can you tell we love our Longchamps?? I spy three!)

Visited the Glossier Showrom on my birthday and made my first ever Glossier purchase. I picked up the brand new Wowder and Birthday Balm Dotcom (how fitting!!) It’s safe to say I’m now obsessed with Glossier and can guarantee you’ll be hearing more about these products soon.

Told ya I had a thing for black and white checkered tile!! Couldn’t resist snapping this pic since my Vans matched the SoHo Bloomingdale’s floor.

More CDG at the MET with a quote from Rei.

There’s one whirlwind week’s worth of vacation memories! Stay tuned for more content on the blog next week.
